Classes Impacted After Pipe Burst in East Quad

Displaced classes will resume in their normal meeting locations on Monday, February 3.

 

UPDATE: 1/29/14 3:30 PM

All classes scheduled for today (Jan. 29) in East Quad remain canceled.

Significant flooding from a pipe burst that occurred earlier today has affected the following rooms: B830, B834, B852, B856 and 1423.

Classes scheduled to meet in the affected rooms are being moved to alternative locations for tomorrow (Jan. 30) and Friday (Jan. 31). Students are directed to contact their instructor or the course department for their new meeting locations.

All other classes held in East Quad will resume tomorrow (Jan. 30) in their normal meeting locations.

 

UPDATE: 1/29/14 11:00 AM

A pipe burst occurred at 9:30 AM in the lower level of East Quad affecting the academic area.

All classes scheduled for today (Jan. 29) in the building are canceled, including classes offered through LSA, the Residential College and other units.

No residential space has been affected at this point. Officials are evaluating whether classes will resume tomorrow. Please check back later for updates.
