Strategic Implementation Director
Kim serves as a strategic implementation director in the Office of the Vice President for Communications (OVPC). In this role, she works to build and manage key partnerships within OVPC and across the campus community. She is leading OVPC’s strategic planning process, spearheading the U-M communities of practice initiative, and supporting executive communications.
Previously, she served as a member of the Public Affairs team for 30 years. Most recently as the director of public affairs and as a public spokesperson for the university. Kim graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in journalism. Outside of work, she spends much of her time on the soccer fields with her children. She also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
